Note that though we are discussing this "attack" the agents are simply taking actions based on observations. They are responding to events without necessarily diagnosing the attack. As the actions and action selection mechanism matures, the agents’ methodology will be to respond to observations first, to improve or preserve network health, then continue gathering more information for root cause analysis or even for forensics.
