| Project Summary | Stottler Henke developed an Intelligent Patient Data Review Assistant (IPDRA), a collection of software applications and technologies that integrate patient data across sources and present this data within interactive, high-density graphical reports, so clinicians can review this data more effectively. A major product of the project is the DataMontage™ data visualization software suite. DataMontage runs within Java applets or applications to display data for one or more patients within information-dense collections of timelines, time-series graphs, and time-stamped notes to show significant patterns spanning multiple variables. Because it can be overwhelming to view all of the patient’s data, even within dense, graphical displays, we demonstrated the feasibility and usefulness of presenting clinically-meaningful subsets of each patient’s data within patient data views. In addition, custom graph subsets enable users to select pre-defined subsets of the graphs and timelines quickly via menu selection. |
